Proofing baskets for sliced bread – wooden bottom are made in Slovenia from selected rattan (peddig cane) suitable for food contact. The ribbed structure supports the dough during the final proof, absorbs surplus moisture and leaves the classic spiral pattern on the crust – the bread develops its full flavour thanks to the breathing properties of the basket.
The fluted wooden bottom adds stability and a flat base, which makes the baskets ideal for stacking and for use in bread lines.
Designed for sandwich and toast loaves that will be sliced.
Available in 10 sizes for loaves from 3 000 g to 15 000 g. Special sizes are possible on request without extra charge, and every basket can be lined with a matching antibacterial cover for a smooth crust.
