Flat proofing baskets are made in Slovenia from selected rattan (peddig cane) suitable for food contact. The ribbed structure supports the dough during the final proof, absorbs surplus moisture and leaves the classic spiral pattern on the crust – the bread develops its full flavour thanks to the breathing properties of the basket.
Available in 6 sizes for loaves from 500 g to 3 000 g. Special sizes are possible on request without extra charge, and every basket can be lined with a matching antibacterial cover for a smooth crust.
